PETYX is a sister house to Refined. The same idea — the essential few, done exceptionally well — turned toward the animal that shares your home.
Where it comes from
Refined began with a question about skincare: what is the least you need, done exceptionally well? PETYX asks the same question about the animal in the room — the one whose coat you already run your hand through every evening, whose cracked winter pads you already worry about.
The answer was the same: not more products, but better ones. A small, complete line, each formula earning its place on the shelf and in the ritual you already share.
Formulated without compromise
Cold-pressed oils, oat lipids, shea, mango butter, beeswax — the ingredients that actually condition a coat and soothe skin, at meaningful concentrations, with nothing added to pad the label. Fragrance-free by default, pH-balanced for animal skin, and formulated to be safe if a little is licked.
We develop the line and specify the formulas; the making is done for us in small batches by the same kind of considered lab that makes Refined. Recyclable glass and aluminium, refills where we can.
Tested gently, honestly
Every formula is patch-tested and used, over weeks, on real coats — the shaggy, the short, the double, the wiry — before it earns a place in the line. A formula that doesn't clearly beat what's already on the shelf doesn't ship. That's how the line stays small.
What we don't claim
We make grooming and comfort care, not veterinary medicine. Nothing we sell is a drug or a medical device, and we make no claim that any of it treats, cures or prevents disease. The Balm soothes and protects a cracked pad; it is not a wound treatment. The Salve calms an irritated patch of skin; it is not a cure for the cause. If your animal has a health problem, please see a vet — good grooming supports healthy skin, it doesn't replace care.
